On 22 January 2026, a delegation from Shareteah Humanitarian Organization (SHO) met with H.E. Mr. Daniel Hunn, Ambassador of Switzerland, in Baghdad.
The meeting focused on discussing the current humanitarian situation in Iraq, ongoing challenges faced by vulnerable communities, and the critical need for coordinated humanitarian responses. Both sides also exchanged views on potential areas of future cooperation, emphasizing the importance of partnerships in delivering effective, sustainable, and people-centered humanitarian assistance.
SHO highly values Switzerland’s continued commitment to humanitarian principles and constructive dialogue, and looks forward to strengthening collaboration in support of peace, protection, and community resilience.
