SHO is always looking for more helping hands to support us in our mission to protect people from the dangers of explosive hazards.  With SHO, you will join a team of people committed to saving lives and keeping families safe.

Frequently asked questions

Volunteer positions are open to anyone who would like to help and work with SHO. Whether you’re still in university, looking to gain work experience, or a professional, looking to pitch in.

Fill in the application form, so we can find when and where we can best bring you in. Don’t forget to upload your CV!

Volunteers are expected to commit 2-3 days per week for 3-4 months. Volunteer commitments will be discussed with the team accordingly.

We do our best to provide allowance to our volunteers for food and transportation. 

SHO primarily holds office in Dohuk and Mosul. We also have operations spread across Iraq, in both Federal Iraq and KRI. Volunteers will be assigned in locations based on the work available. We will ofcourse take your location of residency into consideration.
