Shareteah Humanitarian Organization (SHO) strives to create & foster safe spaces for people affected by war in Iraq. Through continuous partnerships & collaboration with local communities and international organizations, SHO is able to clear areas contaminated by explosive hazards, and educate local populations in the risks of encountering & handling explosive ordnance.
As locals, internally-displaced people, and refugees inhabit these areas and build their homes, businesses, and entire neighborhoods, it is important to ensure that they can live free from the fear of explosive hazards.
